Cultural Expressions
Open submission for online exhibition
Fotomission invites photographers, students and professionals, to participate in a project to document cultural expressions.
We are interested in a wide variety of inspirational photographs that document the broad concept of culture, including: visual arts, traditional arts, religious beliefs, ethnicity, orientation of a community, social life, professions, etc...
With this body of work, Fotomission hopes to contribute to the awareness of the current cultural conditions. The exhibition will present our many cultural identities and recognize their respective values. Additionally, this project will provide the participating photographers with the opportunity to advance their photography skills, to present their techniques and sense, and to exhibit their work in a public forum.
Photographers should create images that capture and detail the current issues identifying the diversity of multicultural life. All photographs should serve as poetic representations of the cultures and trends. Participants should present portfolios that convey feelings, create emotional interest, and express a visual point of view.
